Model 1: Infrastructure, Communication and Accessibility.

2. Start-up Consultation
 
Consultations with members of the various responsible departments (human resources, facility management and communication). Objectives: establishing potential, possibilities and priorities for the project.

3. Assessment of Potential
 
Geographical distribution of staff, estimation of potential to expand bicycle use.

4. Assessment of business organisation using available data and maps
 
Type of enterprise, geographical location, staff distribution within the office building, dress code, work timetables.

5. Assessment of availability and quality of relevant infrastructure
 
Access routes, bicycle stands, other structural and technical facilities (showers, changing rooms, lockers, a set up for bicycle repair).

6. Assessment of availability and quality of accessibility
 
Location of offices in relation to available cycle routes, road safety, sign posting.

Model 2: Bicycle Use

1. Availability assessment and analysis of site-specific bicycle use
 
Routes to work for employees, classification of available data, calculation or estimation of which forms of transport are most used (modal split), bicycle counts on specific days.

Model 3: Specialist talk and workshop

All interested employees are invited to partake in a presentation of the aims and results of the project. Suggestions and comments for the action plan are recorded.

Model 4: Plan of Action (suggestions-)

1. Infrastructure I
 
Routes on site, accessibility, and availability of bicycle stands.

2. Infrastructure II
 
Detailed plan of bicycle stands (numbers, type, shelter, lighting), as well as changing rooms, lockers and showers.

3. Accessibility
 
Suggestions in this field, are directed at municipalities (integration with the local cycle routes, cycle lanes that lead to work destination, dangerous areas in the immediate surrounding area of the work place).

4. Communication
 
Of an urban bicycle culture, availability of information and advice on cycling ( availability and display, intranet, company news), company or department bicycle trips, competitions and bike to work days.

5. Targets
 
Infrastructural facilities, communication, choice of mode of transport (modal split) as basis for evaluation processes (see model 6)

Model 5: Bike to work days and wellness dayse

1. Assistance in organising mobility and health days

2. Constant advice on bicycle use for the company and its employees (for instance, as part of an action day)

3. Talks with company committees

4. Provision of information about cycling (flyers and brochures)

Model 6: Evaluation

1. Estimations for the potential of an increase in bicycle use
 
Bicycle counts at specific times of year, days of the week and times of day.

2. Assessment of bicycle use and suitable arrangements
 
Carrying out and assessing interviews with key individuals from different parts of the company or through random polls.
